He was a leader in the advancement of the fee-only fiduciary model of providing financial advice.  Roger retired from active involvement in the firm in 2018 but continues to provide vital counsel and perspective to clients and firm management. He spent his career as an advisor and advocate for individuals and businesses providing pensions and profit sharing plans to their employees. He developed investment policies and educational programs for a wide range of public and closely held companies, as well as nonprofit organizations.  Roger provided investment management and financial planning advice to generations of individuals and their families.

I have always loved helping others, from coaching to volunteering on non-profit boards to ski patrolling. Financial planning has been a really good way to fulfill my need to help others.
I have travelled extensively, from Paris to Calcutta. I have bicycled from Vienna to Prague. I particularly love Italy because of the people, the food, and the beauty of the land.
My main contribution is helping the Sacramento Blues Society” “Blues in the Schools” program. This program teaches America’s original musical art form to local children in after school programs. There are many schools in Sacramento which cannot afford to support the arts. This learning process promotes discipline and self-esteem.
I created a blues band (Deja Blue), and we do live performances in Sonoma county. I play harmonica and do some vocals.
I love historical fiction, particularly books by James Clavell and James Michener. My favorite book is Shogun.
