Kristin Harad serves as a marketing consultant* and advisor to The Advisory Group.  As a former practicing CFP® professional, Kristin brings unique insight in to how to attract new clients who will benefit most from the Wealth & Life strategy approach.  She also helps devise, develop, and share valuable educational content to provide insights, knowledge and perspective to clients and prospects.

For more than a decade, Kristin has been advising RIAs on how to create marketing systems that help support their growth and deliver a high quality client experience.  She brings with her 14 years of corporate and ad agency experience where she served in strategic marketing roles for prominent Fortune 500 brands.

The reason I enjoy helping with building awareness and attracting clients to The Advisory Group is because I believe strongly in the importance of objective financial planning advice.  When clients work with one of The Advisory Group advisors, they feel a relief and sense of security that previously they did not experience around their money.  It can be a big step to engage outside advice, especially as an accomplished business owner or leader who feels like “I should be able to do this for myself.”  Yet, getting professional guidance, especially around midlife when all aspects of life are fully engaged, releases the pressure.  It is rewarding to see people feel free to go do what matters most to them without worrying about the money part anymore.

I have been fortunate to have traveled to many countries.  While I enjoy many, my favorite and most impactful experience was moving to Sydney, Australia with my family and living there from 2015-2018.  My husband and I fulfilled a lifelong dream of living and working abroad, while giving our children the opportunity to go to school and form friendships down under. We lived by Bondi Beach, enjoying the surf and sand, and traveled extensively throughout the Asia-Pacific region.

Aside from spending time with my husband, my two teenagers and my Jack Russell Tallulah, I dedicate a high portion of my “free time” to fitness.  While I have also engage in a regular workout routine, the type of workouts have changed over the years.  Currently, I enjoy training at F45 North Beach, where I do a combination of cardio and strength training.  It’s been a fantastic learning experience and the community keeps me coming back!

My involvement ties directly to my kids’ interests.  I serve on the Board for Musical Theatre Works, a non-profit children’s theatre company dedicated to providing professional Broadway show experiences for young actors in San Francisco.  I also volunteer many hours for my son’s high school wrestling team, serving as a team parent.
