Ryan also evaluates and reports on portfolio analytics and provides research on new developments in financial planning to educate both our team members and our clients.

For as long as I can remember, I have always had a strong interest in the financial markets and how they work together.  When I discovered a career path that paired my interest in finance and investing with my desire to impact people’s lives in a direct and positive way, I eagerly pursued financial planning.  Not only do I get to work with interesting colleagues who share a common pursuit to help others, I also have the opportunity to continue learning along the way.  I feel fortunate to be part of a dynamic and exciting industry where I can make a meaningful difference in our clients’ lives.

Travel to new places, try new food and search for great craft beer!  One of my favorite travel spots is Hawaii…more specifically Kaanapali, Maui.  It’s the perfect place to step away and relax! Some of my top picks for restaurants in the Bay Area include:  The Hero Ranch Kitchen in Saratoga, Hapa’s Brewing Company in Los Gatos, and Balboa Cafe and House of Prime Rib in San Francisco.

While you can find me most mornings at The Bay Club in San Francisco, my favorite exercise is running along Marina Green to the Golden Gate Bridge.  Taking in fresh air and beautiful scenery as I run along the Bay is an invigorating way to stay in shape and clear my head.

My most recent learning endeavor was completing an intensive program to earn the Certified Private Wealth Advisor® (CPWA®) certification. With this credential, I have an expanded base of knowledge to address the unique challenges our high-net-worth clients face, and will continue to stay current on the strategies to minimize taxes, monetize and protect assets, maximize growth, and transfer wealth.
