California born and raised. I was born in Santa Monica, California. As I kid, we lived in Tarzana and then moved to Westlake Village when I started high school.  My wife and I live in west Marin in the community of Woodacre.

I attend St. John’s Episcopal Church in Ross and have served on the Vestry, as Senior Warden, and as a member and Chairman of the Investment Committee. I currently serve as a Lay Eucharistic Minister and Usher.

I’ve also worked on some Habitat for Humanity projects in Marin.

Comforts in San Anselmo has a great chicken salad. Scoma’s Restaurant on Pier 47 is my go-to place for seafood and Two Bird Café in San Geronimo is consistently good. If you love ice cream, The Fairfax Scoop is terrific.

The view from the top of Mt Tamalpais on a clear day. Walk on the beach at Drakes Bay. Walk around Sausalito. Take the ferry from Larkspur to San Francisco and have lunch at the SF Ferry Building.
Even as a kid, growing up in Southern California, the San Francisco Giants were my favorite baseball club.
